Welcome to hntr. These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern your use of our app. By using hntr, you agree to these T&Cs. If you do not agree with these T&Cs, please do not use the app.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using hntr, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs and our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the app indicates your acceptance of any updates or modifications to these T&Cs.

3. User Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.
• You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide through the app.

4. Account Creation and Security

• To access certain features of the app, you are required to create an account by providing your first name, last name, email address, and a secure password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or security breaches.

5. Features and Services

• hntr provides several features to enhance your property search and home-buying experience:

  • Users can input information about properties they are viewing, including adding photos, videos, notes, questions, and ratings.
• b. Budget Sheet
  • Users can keep track of costs and expenses associated with purchasing a property.
• c. Viewing Schedule
  • Users can manage and schedule their property viewings directly within the app.
• d. House Buying Process Steps
  • hntr provides users with a guide that outlines the steps involved in purchasing a home.
• e. Glossary
  • The app includes a glossary of terms related to the property buying process for user reference.
• f. AI Features
  • hntr may offer features powered by artificial intelligence to help guide you through your home-buying journey. These features are intended for general informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.
  • We make no guarantees as to the accuracy, reliability, or applicability of AI-generated content. You remain solely responsible for any decisions made based on such content.
  • hntr is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on AI-based outputs.
• g. Recommended Suppliers
  • hntr provides a curated list of recommended suppliers (e.g., mortgage brokers, solicitors, surveyors) that we have worked with or vetted.
  • When you choose to contact a supplier through the app, we provide a pre-written email template for your convenience.
  • By clicking “send,” you consent to share the email address associated with your hntr account with the selected supplier.
  • Once sent, all further communication with the supplier takes place in your personal email inbox and not within the hntr platform.
  • hntr does not store or have access to the content of any email exchanges between you and the supplier after the initial contact.
• h. Monetization and Social Mission
  • hntr is free for users. To support this, we may receive a commission if you choose to book a service from one of our recommended suppliers. This helps us cover development costs and continue improving the app.
  • As part of our mission to create a more supportive home-buying experience, we donate 10% of all revenue to Centrepoint, a UK charity working to end youth homelessness.

6. User Content

• While users may upload content (e.g., notes, images, videos) to help organize their home-buying process, hntr does not access, use, or share this content for any purpose beyond providing the intended app functionality.

7. Privacy Policy

Your use of hntr is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and materials provided on the app are owned by hntr and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

hntr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the app, including AI-generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these T&Cs or engage in any unlawful or harmful conduct.
Upon termination, your right to access and use the app will cease immediately. Any content or information associated with your account may also be deleted.

11. Changes to the T&Cs

We may update or modify these T&Cs at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or through other communication methods. Your continued use of the app following such changes will constitute your acceptance of the updated T&Cs.

12. Governing Law

These T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these T&Cs will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
